But in fact there is no greater variation then calories in beer there are many different beers and they have many different calories, so are all beers bad for your belly?
Well that question is not so easy to answer, a light beer has an average of 100 calories per serving an flavored malt beer can at up to 241 calories per serving. And that is of course a huge amount of calories in beer.
In general we can say that the calories in beer are of the bad kind, they are so called empty calories which are hard to burn and not easy to get rid of. And the “lite†beers are not that lite at all, at least the ones that taste better than a watery kind of beer flavored substance. There are ways around this you can start with home brewing low calorie beer but that is a whole new hobby.
Obviously, the calories in beer can influence the belly of the beer drinker in a negative way, especially when you like to drink the more heavy beers. One or two of those can have the same amount of calories then half a meal, and when you know that many people drink three or four at one night you can add up the calories in beer.
Your body treats calories in beer almost the same as sugar, when you take a beer your body thinks of it like a very easy source of energy and a easier way than burning fat. This is why the calories in beer slow down your body’s fat burning ability.
So, should you stop with drinking beer? No off course you should not stop to drink beer, you only need to drink less of it and enjoy the ones you do drink. Buy a beer you like or brew one yourself and enjoy it to the fullest.
